Skincare has always been very important to me but now that I’m in my thirties, it’s become essential I find products that not only have anti-aging benefits but help my skin keep a healthy glow. Developing a skincare routine and keeping to it on the daily is pretty much the easiest way to seeing results. You may not realize it but overtime – if the products are beneficial to your skin health – you will notice a difference. And many times, you will not only see it but feel it as well.

 

Enter Beauty Tech Cosmetics – the developers of the first-ever tinted probiotic-infused skin serum on the market. I’d never seen a tinted skin serum before this and was immediately intrigued by their products. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was makeup or a revolutionary skincare product packaged in the most beautiful glass bottle. Turns out it was the latter. Their beauty line is honestly one of a kind, not only in terms of appearance but in the extensive list of pro-aging ingredients infused into their formula. I was instantly curious about trying it out for myself. I was tired of using the same skincare products that didn’t specifically target aging skin. On top of the probiotic benefits to the skin, it also promised a noticeable glow. Was there something they couldn’t do? Here’s how it worked on my combination skin.

 

Skin Energy Probiotic Skin Serum ($30)

When you hear probiotic skincare, you’re automatically intrigued by the science behind it but what exactly is it? To keep it simple, the body needs probiotics to keep it healthy by fighting off bad bacteria. Same goes for your skin. This is where Beauty Tech Cosmetics takes skincare to the next level by infusing their products with ingredients that help repair dry and damaged skin while reducing fine lines. When I read the extensive ingredient list and its benefits, I was honestly impressed. Out of everything, I was of course most excited to try the tinted probiotic skin serum. It was unlike anything I’d seen before and I was curious to see if its beautiful appearance would deliver on real results.

 

After almost two months of using the probiotic skin serum, which I got in the “Get ready with me” bronze tint (they come in 14 different tints!), I’m officially hooked. After just a few days, my skin looked noticeably brighter. I use three drops on my skin right after my toner every morning so it can absorb all the benefits on a freshly cleansed face. I wasn’t sure if the tint would suit my skin tone at first – as I’m very fair skinned – but the tint is so subtle that it’s barely there. There’s also an option to get extra shimmer but I stuck with the original formula. The serum leaves my skin looking dewey and hydrated throughout the day – which I love. I can essentially feed my skin all these nutrients on a daily basis but what really sold me on this purchase? It comes personalized with my name on the bottle! How can you honestly say no to that?

 

Rose & Shine Brush ($26)

Another one of Beauty Tech’s science-driven products is this big beautiful pink fluffy brush that not only screams aesthetic but is completely bacteria-free. This one had me in awe as I didn’t know the world of beauty had advanced as far as to have built-in technology to constantly fight bacteria on brush bristles but it exists. Many of us are unaware how the harmful bacteria on our brushes contribute to aging skin, including fine lines, redness and blemishes. That’s why this revolutionary anti-bacterial brush is in many ways the most important step in your skincare routine.

 

You’d think it’s just a really aesthetically appealing brush but the truth is it has so many mind-blowing benefits that a regular brush just doesn’t. With the Rose & Shine brush, I love how much more evenly product goes on as opposed to just using your finger tips. I use it to apply my serum daily but it also doubles as a makeup brush for loose powders. The bristles honestly feel just as revolutionary as they look. They create a therapeutic cooling sensation all over your face with its soft micro bristles. The skinny handle also makes it easy and comfortable to hold. However, it’s the fact that it’s helping my skin fight against harmful bacteria that makes me want to continue using it. There’s nothing worse than a brush that’s already full of bacteria going back onto your skin every day. It also comes with a silk bag to make storing your beauty brush easy. Love it!

 

Glow Food Probiotic & Peptide Mist ($38)

Quite possibly my favourite product from the Beauty Tech Cosmetics line is the Glow Food skin mist. It’s a brightening glow spray that does wonders for the skin and feels amazing. Again, like the serum, it’s packed with so many helpful ingredients such as probiotics as well as peptides, collagen and so much more. What really sets this glow spray apart from the rest is it’s said to reduce wrinkles and fine lines by 30% in just 30 days. One of the key ingredients is the topical botox, which helps with skin tightening. I can’t say if it did or not for me, as it’s hard to tell without documenting my skin from day to day, but it definitely helped in creating a youthful glow by balancing my pH levels with their pre and probiotics.

 

I’d never used a face mist in my life before this but after just a few usages, I understood why people love it so much. It feels so refreshing to apply after your serum or moisturizer as a last step in your skincare routine. It’s also an easy way to improve your overall skin health with its nourishing ingredients packed with probiotics. Although you can buy each product individually, it’s a much better value to buy all three products in a bundle ($99), which is what I did. The Glow Food mist in the bundle comes in the “Vitamins & Minerals” tint, which is a light champagne colour. You have the option of customizing your tint to another one of the six that they offer but I stuck with this natural-looking one. And although it’s tinted, it’s barely noticeable. I do three sprays over my face and massage in for deep hydration, which leads to the best glow I could ask for from a skincare product. It really is glow food.

 

Youth Matrix Jelly ($22)

Beauty Tech’s newest addition to their line of probiotic skincare is the Youth Matrix Jelly, which I absolutely love. One of the best ways to slow down the signs of aging is to apply a repair cream on a daily basis. Infused into this luxurious jelly-like cream are pre and probiotics, EGF, peptides, rose water and the list goes on. Not only does this light-textured cream boast a firming and brightening formula, it promises concentrated benefits for 48-hours of hydration and cell repair – that’s a total of two days! I hadn’t been using an anti-aging cream before this so as soon as I discovered the Youth Matrix Jelly, I couldn’t resist but add to cart.

 

I like to use the Youth Matrix Jelly once a day nightly while keeping the skin serum strictly for day use. This cream surprised me since day one. The soft jelly-like texture was amazingly soothing on my combination skin and quickly absorbed – or shall I say melted – into the skin’s surface, leaving me feeling so hydrated right before bed. I noticed afterwards when it had started working its magic that my skin was absolutely glowing. My complexion looked brighter and healthier; my face felt deeply moisturized and renewed from the day’s stressors. Made with natural plant extracts and antioxidants, I can almost feel the cells of my skin being renewed after a long hard’s day work when applying the Youth Matrix Jelly. The only downside is that it only comes in 30 ml. It definitely runs out way faster than I’d like but for such an affordable price, I can probably afford to stock up on a few more.

 

Overall, I’ve been pleasantly impressed by Beauty Tech Cosmetics to say the least. I was skeptical of their science-driven beauty products at first but the probiotic-infused products have really sold me. Seeing as how their skin serums are tinted, I wasn’t sure if it would irritate my skin when using it right after my toner. I wouldn’t normally associate tinted products to contribute to skin health but the colour was barely there – just a slight shimmer. A few drops are surprisingly very moisturizing and I’m not lying when I say it really made my skin glow. It doesn’t hurt that all products are packaged beautifully either.

 

Thanks to Beauty Tech, skincare has now become such a fun process. I’ve been loving using their products every morning and night. Best part is that they don’t cost an arm and a leg in comparison to other luxurious skincare lines. I’ve been reaping the benefits from their vast ingredient list for a good month now and it really shows. More so, it’s really changed the way I view anti-aging skincare. Beauty Tech proves you really don’t need thick night creams to keep your skin looking youthful and healthy. The skin serum, glow mist and youth jelly have all helped in making my skin glow from the inside out – all thanks to their probiotic-infused technology.
