It’s safe to say that the right accessories can either make or break an outfit. They can glam up your look or just add a personal touch to your overall ensemble. Personally, I only have a few accessories that I like to wear because once I find ones that I like, I wear them with everything. You may have already noticed from my Instagram feed that I tend to style my outfits with the same accessories over and over again. A nice pair of everyday earrings are hard to find so once I do, I’m all for it. Since I feel a girl should never be without some bling, I’ve included and linked my favourite ones in this post!

This past spring, I visited the Run The World Fashion Show in Toronto where I got to discover numerous fashion businesses all started by women right in my home city. One of them being Clara Lifestyle, a bohemian luxe jewelry line that I instantly fell in love with. Aesthetically, it was everything I was looking for in an accessories line – delicate, fine and feminine. 1. Clara Lifestyle Zahra Earrings ($117). I instantly fell in love with this pretty gold-plated pair for their unique triangular shape and delicate pearl. It’s no surprise they caught my attention right away, with a mix of vintage and modern design all in one. I also love how they’re subtle enough not to overpower my outfits while still being unique enough able to stand out as a style piece. Combined with their decent pricing, I feel like they were definitely a great find as I get so much wear out of them. They add a bit of femininity to any everyday look.

Watches are a must-have accessory in upping your style game. For those that think a watch is just something to help tell time, you’re dead wrong. Not only will it be the most valued item in your accessories drawer, it’s the ultimate piece of bling your wrist has been waiting for. Necklaces are definitely the one accessory I can’t get enough of – they’re great for layering and probably one of the first things people notice on you. I’ve come to realize that if I had to choose one accessory, a necklace is probably the most important in elevating your look to the next level. Because let’s be real, an outfit is just not complete without some icing on your neck. Pictured above, I’m wearing my Twin Necklace that I’ve been practically wearing with everything for over a year. You may have heard about a certain Canadian jewelry line called Mejuri that’s been killing in for the past year. Known for their affordable luxury jewelry line, it’s a no brainer than I’d be quite the fan.

 3. Mejuri Twin Necklace ($75). Taking a minimalist approach to design, I love how bold their pieces are while still looking simple and fine in appearance. The Twin necklace is the perfect last touch to any outfit for this reason. I feel almost naked without it because it can honestly make a plain white T-shirt look fancy – it’s going to be tough to find a better match. When looking for a timeless accessory, something minimalist usually does the trick. Styles come and go but a piece of fine jewelry that still looks amazing with everything for more than a year? That’s a keeper.
