I think everyone will agree with me when I say over-the-knee boots are an instant confidence booster. They’re the easiest way to lengthen your legs no matter what height you are. Before getting a pair myself, I always thought I could never pull them off since I don’t have the legs for it. Well, my theory turned out to be dead wrong. Everyone should know that you don’t need long legs to wear over-the-knee boots. The boots will add inches where you thought there were none. I recently bought these Steve Madden over-the-knee suede boots and haven’t turned back since! It’s been a perfect addition to my fall wardrobe that I’m planning to wear them right into the holidays. Nothing screams sex appeal more than showing off a bit of leg during these long winter months.
The weather’s only going to get colder, which means it’s best to style your over-the-knee boots with some heavier layers. Since you know how much I love turtlenecks, I decided to wear my knee-high boots with a heavy-knit high-low turtleneck sweater and my black leather shorts to show off my legs. Due to the freezing temperatures, I’d save this look for a night out or a casual holiday event. I know you must think it’s crazy to bare your legs in this weather but as long as you have a knee-length jacket over top, it should keep you warm and balance out the look of the shorts. If you’re not feeling as adventurous, you could always wear your over-the-knee boots with leggings of course. However, it’s always best to wear them with shorts or a skirt as it accentuates your legs the most, giving you that sexy holiday look.
To complete the outfit, don’t forget to accessorize with some personal jewelry and a chic purse. I opted to wear a few of my dainty pieces from Mejuri to keep the look minimalistic but yet, still stylish. As well, I didn’t want to overpower the boots so I paired it with my small white crossbody purse. Although the turtleneck sweater keeps things casual, the over-the-knee boots speak for themselves and will transform any outfit into a dressy one. As long as there’s a bit of a heel on your boots (mine are 2″), you will feel like a million bucks while wearing them. These boots are now my favourite fall to winter boot style as they’ve elevated my look completely on a night out. The holidaysj are arriving shortly, why not show off those legs this Christmas with a pair of over-the-knee boots?

You looking amazing in these over the knee boots! They really show off your sense of style and legs. How is the quality of the boots? I’m thinking of getting a pair myself 🙂
I can’t wait to see your next post!
Thanks so much!! I got them not too long ago and so far, so good! I’d recommend looking through the different styles and heel lengths – Steve Madden has a lot to choose from! I love mine so much, they really make me feel like a million bucks 🤗
You look fantastic – thanks so much for the recommendation for thigh high boots. Did you get them on sale? How much do they retail for?
Thanks Elaine! The ones I’m wearing in this post were unfortunately not on sale. They retail for $150 but Boxing Day is coming up in a few weeks, I’m sure you can find some styles on sale then! 🙂
