Summer might be coming to an end but that doesn’t mean all summer pieces have to start collecting dust in your closet. My favourite look this past summer has to be the ultimate statement piece – the jumpsuit. They’ve been trending for years now but considering my height, I never expected to be able to rock one. Little did I know – contrary to popular belief – jumpsuits are not only for the vertically blessed. In fact, standing at 5’4”, they’ve only done wonders to lengthen my legs and make me appear taller than I actually am. After a summer of rocking various jumpsuits, I’m confident when I say nothing makes me feel more like a million bucks than a jumpsuit. And what’s better is that even after summer’s over, you can wear it into the fall months.
After purchasing my first jumpsuit, I couldn’t stop making it a summer staple. I was completely in love when I tried this all-white jumpsuit from Wilfred (pictured above). It’s the perfect length, ending right at the ankle with a flirty self-tie in the back to show off some skin. In other words – all business in the front, party in the back ;). It was the most ideal outfit to wear on my trip to Quebec City recently. Nothing screams ultimate Frenchie fashion more than this jumpsuit honestly. As well, considering how often I tend to spill things onto myself, I was surprised when I managed to keep this white jumpsuit stain-free the entire day. Pictured above, in Old Quebec, I styled this jumpsuit with simple gold jewelry and my favourite gray heeled sandals (which I’ve been wearing with EVERYTHING this summer).
The thing I love the most about wearing jumpsuits is how easy they are to style. This Zara one-piece (pictured above) speaks for itself just worn on its own. To accessorize, I kept the jewelry to a minimum with a small crossbody to complete the outfit. Throw on a pair of killer shades and sandals, you have a super stylish summer outfit that’s great to wear from day to night. Not to mention – once fall arrives, you can easily throw on a sweater or jacket on overtop. I only wish I could’ve started wearing jumpsuits earlier – they make for the most comfortably stylish outfit with the least amount of effort. They’re also both casual yet dressy enough for any occasion. In fact, I recently wore a jumpsuit for my friend’s wedding and loved it. Depending on the material of the jumpsuit, you can definitely rock it for special occasions as well!

Love the jumpsuits! I agree completely – the white jumpsuit is amaaazing and looks so good on you. I love how tall it makes you look 🙂 . What does the back look like?
Thank you for the lovely feedback! The illusion of being taller is a definite plus for me when wearing jumpsuits 🙂 The back is pretty much open except for the self-tie. You can see the bow I tied in the back in the photo above!
